A Canadian sterling silver large two-handled Presentation Cup, Toronto, circa 1905

Height x max. diameter: 36.1 x 39 cm. Weight 4196 g.

On a stepped domed base with wavy rim applied with climbing flowers and foliage, the body applied on one side with a horse pulling a carriage, the opposite side engraved with a presentation inscription, the leaf-capped loop handles with flower blossom upper terminals.

Sterling silver, fully hallmarked 925/1000 Fine - Proctor - Sterling" and P.W. Ellis & Co. marks.

Item condition grading: **** good, minor signs of use commensurate with use over time, some losses to applied flowers below carriage, leaves near one handle starting to pull away.
