A large Late Roman red jasper intaglio. Emblematic scene with two victories., 3rd-4th century A.D.

Central symmetrical scene with two winged victories holding up a crown together, a shrub at the bottom. The model derives from the coin reverses of some 3rd century roman issues (for ex. Gordian III, Pisidia, Antioch). Very small chip on the edge.
