Diademed head of Ancus Marcius to r.; behind, lituus; below, ANCVS; Rv. Aqueduct, on which stands equestrian statue; at horse's feet, flower; on l. PHILIPPVS downwards; within arches of aqueduct, AQUAMARC. Crawford 425/1; Babelon (Marcia) 28; Sydenham 919. An extremely rare variety (different number of arches). Lovely iridescent tone. Minor areas of flatness. Extremely fine / near extremely fine.
