ANTONINVS AVG PIVS P P Laureate head right. Rv. COS II Sicilia standing left with triskelis on head, holding crown and poppies; in exergue, SICILIA. RIC 589 var. (SICILIA in exergue); Cohen 786 var. (same). Very rare. Appealing dark brown and green patina. Perfectly well centred. An exceptional, very sharply struck piece with an absolutely wonderful portrait. Good extremely fine. One of the best specimens known.
