Helmeted and draped bust of Virtus right; before, VIRTVS upwards; behind, III·VIR downwards. Rv. Warrior, holding shield in left hand and lifting up fallen figure with right; to right, partially ligate, MN AQVIL upwards; to left, partially ligate, MN·F MN·N downwards; in exergue, SICIL. Crawford 401/1; Babelon (Aquillia) 2; Sydenham 798. Lovely iridescent tone. Good extremely fine.
